What Happens When You Delete Your Account
Permanently Deleted
- Your personal information (name, phone number, profile photo) is anonymized and cannot be recovered
- Your saved favorites and waitlist entries are permanently removed
- All push notification tokens are deactivated — you will stop receiving notifications
- All active sessions and authentication tokens are revoked immediately
Automatically Cancelled
- All your upcoming (active) bookings are cancelled with the reason "Account deleted"
Retained for Legal & Business Purposes
- Reviews and ratings you have left are kept for business integrity (displayed anonymously)
- Payment transaction records are retained as required by tax and accounting laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan
- Completed booking history is kept for business audit and reporting purposes
Retained data is associated with an anonymized account and cannot be linked back to your identity.
How Your Data Is Anonymized
When you delete your account, we immediately anonymize your personal information rather than simply hiding it:
- Phone number is replaced with an internal identifier (e.g., "deleted_abc123")
- Your name is changed to "Deleted" and last name is removed
- Profile photo is permanently deleted from our file storage
- Password hash is erased — the account cannot be logged into
- Telegram account link is removed
This process is irreversible. Once your account is deleted, it cannot be restored. You would need to create a new account to use Bronio again.
